Welcome to People Life Politics And Bullshit!
A blog on people, everyday life, philosophy, politics and all the bullshit we have to deal with but we do not necessarily like! LIFE and every aspect of it, have always interested me.
People, their stories, and history, those who mobilize and make it all the way to the White House or the rest of us ordinary people who most probably will not even be mentioned in history books. Those who live and breathe for creativity or the ones who find passion in a pint of beer. Those of us who philosophize even about a little flower, or the ones among us who shake their heads at philosophy and would rather talk bullshit.
Yes, LIFE. Everything between heaven and earth. Through this blog, I will work towards the vision of creating a room with written words, pictures, and short videos. A blissful blend of everything that has to do with life and which is of interest to those who have preserved their childish curiosity. Here I will share my own experiences created through the journey of life, others’ reflections, philosophy, and small moments of everyday life that are worth sharing and which makes life worth living.
Since I want to reach as many people as possible with what I write and have neither Norwegian nor English as my native language, I have chosen to make a room in my blog called the Norwegian room. There I will publish articles in Norwegian, but I will also try to translate what I write in English and maybe sometimes it will only be English without Norwegian translation. By the way, I have suddenly realized how much work it is with a blog and so much fun. (Case you also want to start own)
And who am I?
My name is Parisa. I was born in Iran, moved to Norway at the age of 14. Today I am in the middle of 40s. Do I consider my self as an Iranian or Norwegian? My hair is dark, my skin is brown, I speak different languages, and at heart, I feel more like a gypsy. A fortunate gypsy who has a passport with a red cover which allows me to travel everywhere in the world. Since political situation in Iran forced us to move and has formed my background and affected my life, I am not able to associate my identity with neither a country nor the family in the same way that most men do. I experience myself as a gypsy who is engaged in political issues and how these matters affect our lives like humans and different societies. Politic for me is caring about other human beings and equality. Completely different from how politics is practiced in reality out there.
What about you?
Who are you and what in life amuses you or gives you a tickling sensation? What moves you on, what drowns you? Are you an explorer or someone who enjoys life through observation? Then maybe this blog is for you and you will enjoy our exchanges.
