What, If….?

I hope you delight in listening to this song as you peruse this post, letting your imagination take you on a journey to discover your answer.

“What would you do if you won the lottery?”

This prompt was shared with me by WordPress

Life is full of “what ifs,” right? In Persian, there is a saying that planting seeds of “If only” grows a field of “ifs.” But guess what? Today I’m shaking things up. I’ve got a question for you: “What would you do if you hit the jackpot?” Firstly, let me spill the beans about my lottery adventures. I’ve been throwing my hat in the ring for years, and I’ve had a few decent wins. Not mega, life-changing amounts, but enough to raise an eyebrow and throw a THANKS to the universe. I seriously believe in the power of GRATITUDE.

Now, let’s set sail for dreamland. If I hit the jackpot big time, first up on my list would be snagging an apartment for my son. Have you seen the crazy housing prices for the younger generation? It’s my grand plan to create a launchpad for him into adulthood.

Next on the jackpot express, I’d buy a retreat center in Portugal. A place where magic could happen – workshops, events, you name it. I’ve got a lineup of talented folks, and I’d be the maestra orchestrating intentional vibes through videos, images, words, and daily movement with music. (This one’s happening, jackpot or not; mark my words – Aho!) In my retreats, I will include a system enabling women with limited financial resources to join a week-long retreat to recharge their batteries and gain inspiration to return to their everyday lives.

If the money was still rolling, I’d start a banking system for women. To extend a helping hand to women in countries where they need a boost to break free. No repayment interest – just paying it forward and letting them stand tall, creating graceful lives for themselves and their loved ones.

In this fantasy where I’m rolling in lottery gold, I would undoubtedly be busy. But it wouldn’t be the daily grind kind of busy. It’d be diving deep into creativity, cranking it up a notch. How about you? If you stumbled upon a treasure chest, what would be your jackpot dream?”

  1. Your plan looks like a beautiful one. What would I do? I would buy a house for my retirement in the Canary Islands, Tenerife to be specific. And would also buy a big house or farm for co-housing of elderly people. Finally, I would establish a foundation for preserving wildlife and finance local projects run by young people that often go invisible. Interesting exercise this question Parisa!

    • I like your plans.
      Thanks for sharing them.
I especially love your wish to make projects for the «young invisible»
Our modern society is hard in many ways and the young ones do not have the life experience to deal with that harshness and can easily become invisible ( Even to themselves)

We have to thank WordPress or AI for this question 😊

  2. thank you for a post full of life and play. Inspiring! Yes,I mean that.

my immediate thought was this particular “what if” :

what if you replace “what if”, with “I want” addressed to God, Source , the Universe (whatever). Not as a spoiled child insisting candy, but as a planned, sober act in planning, specifying, and creating my own reality. You will be surprised what happen. It will eventually come to pass… after all, Jesus said: Ask and shall be given …

the secret, in my experience, is to litterally ask,,uttering the words, besause someone is actually there listening. …

    Believe it or not 🙃
