For many years, I’ve been on a spiritual journey, shedding layers of pain and suffering in search of where I truly belong. My quest took me from Norway to India, where a 500-hour Kundalini yoga teacher training deepened my understanding of not only yoga but also the healing power of our pranic, energetic body.
Amidst heartbreak and life’s turbulence, I reached a profound revelation: I had unknowingly made a home out of grief. Since leaving the warm, loving home of my grandparents at the age of nine—or was it ten?—grief became a familiar refuge, a shelter built from unresolved emotions that left me feeling isolated, disconnected, and burdened by shame and loneliness.
At the moment, I’m staying near Kathmandu in a village called Nagarkot, where I walk daily in nature and immerse myself in healing Kundalini practices, I discovered that true transformation begins when we dare to face the unknown. I realized that holding onto grief is like clinging to an old home—a structure built from memories that no longer serves us. Instead, I chose to transmute that wisdom, integrate it into my life, and use it to help others break free from their own loops.
This video is an invitation to reflect: Are we holding onto emotions simply because they’re familiar? Are we willing to let go of what no longer serves us and create space for new experiences? Healing is not linear; it ebbs and flows, urging us to question where we truly belong.
And now, as Venus retrograde graces the sky—from March 1 to April 12, 2025—we are given a cosmic opportunity to shed those old patterns of self-value and love. Venus retrograde invites us to reexamine how we perceive ourselves and our relationships, to release outdated beliefs that no longer support our growth, and to create space for a deeper, more authentic connection with ourselves and others.
