It is possible to learn from the penguins

When I arrived at a certain age, I had decided. I was not going to learn a new language.
My brain could not grasp brand-new communication skills, and that is why when I traveled to South- America, I was sure. I would neither learn Spanish nor Portuguese. I did not have the patience either to go through all the processes of learning a new vocalization or verbalization. But when I arrived, I could not help myself. After some months, I started understanding, even talking a bit. I was surprised by myself. Honestly, I did not put any effort into it, but I guess I have the skill of listening, and that again makes learning available to me.
I have to admit, I have always loved the sound of new languages. Even though I do not understand them, I still enjoy the vibration of the articulation. That is why I wanted to share Amirnezam Samadabadi’s voice with you. Please close your eyes and listen to it! Even if you do not understand a single word of it. How does this new sound cling into your ear?
And what is he saying? He makes a point by using a metaphor, and the metaphor is the love life of Penguins.
“It is possible to learn from the Penguins. Penguins give rocks as a gift. Not just any rocks, though male gentoo penguins search through piles of pebbles to find the smoothest, most perfect ones. When a penguin has selected his pebble, he presents it to his intended companion. If she approves, she puts the stone in her nest. And if she does not accept it, he will take it back to the ocean and throw it there, so no one else makes the same mistake. We humans, we could learn from the penguins. We could also remove a stone from some else’s path, instead of placing it there and make people stumble. We could learn something from the penguins. “
