From Master’s Degree to Devotee: Why He Chose the Spiritual Path

This is a long conversation. It lasts about 45 minutes. I know not everyone has the time to sit and watch or listen to something that long. But if the topic speaks to you, treat it like a podcast and let it go with you. Fascinated by the vibration of the colors, I love how they came together in the background where we filmed. It felt as though they were speaking their own language.

In this unfiltered talk, I explore the Hare Krishna movement, diving into spirituality and the nature of God. I filmed at the ISKCON temple in Kathmandu. There, I spoke with Kantish, a devoted practitioner. He has a master’s degree in business and a bachelor’s in civil engineering. Despite promising academic and professional opportunities, he chose a different path. His path is one of devotion, spiritual service, and the teachings of Krishna consciousness.

Why would someone turn away from a conventional career? Why choose to dedicate their life to chanting, serving, and surrendering to a higher purpose? What does it really mean to live a spiritual life in today’s world?

Maybe this conversation gives you something. Maybe it doesn’t. But I know I enjoyed it—and I hope you do too.

By the way, as part of my Bhakti Yoga practice, I’m offering two free movement coaching sessions. If you’re longing for change, I would love to help you find clarity. If you don’t know where to start, I can guide you toward finding direction. The first two who reach out will get the sessions. Just send me a direct message and we take it from there.
