On many different occasions since a long time ago, I have been told that I should explore Tantra.
Tantra? Should I explore sexuality with random partners and call it spiritual sex? No, thank you, that is for not me, I thought to myself. Maybe it was my ultra-Iranian origins that jumped out; who knows?
This spring, I threw myself into a tantra massage course, which turned out to be completely different from wild sex with different men! Of course, I had to interview Shalini Lind, the tantra teacher.
I hope you enjoy this conversation with Shalini Lind, as I did.
By the way, I have now updated my vibration of the week. I hope you enjoy it. You can also visit my website and book an online coaching, sound, or body movement therapy session with me. If you have any questions about my services, please do not hesitate to email me. And I promise you; that I will not spam your inbox with endless emails.

Shani Lind and her husband bear a remarkable resemblance; so maybe there is something to the part of tantra about influencing each other.

I came across this in one of Mantak Chia’s books, I don’t remember which one. He said couples that have been together for long look alike because of the energy they’ve exchanged over the years.

You know what a friend of mine put me on a new idea, that we usually looking for partners who are the opposite of us, to full-fill us, but actually we are more well suited with the person who is more like us. And I can totally relate to your theory about the exchange of energy over the years. That makes totally sense to me.

Yes I think people need to share some core principles for the relationship to last. Sometimes when opposites come together the relationship is very passionate but it burns out quickly.

It is funny you mention that because that thought has also struck me, their resemblance!!
I often find out that many couples look like each other.
It is for sure something of its own:
“Couples look like each other” Phenomena maybe 🙂

I love how she explains Tantra.
I’ve been practicing Taoism which is similar to Tantra, they both recognize the importance of sexual energy.

Yeah, I also like the way she explains the Tantra. It is more then just sexual intercourse. The sexual energy is our life force🧚♀️
