I had been told I should explore Tantra on many different occasions over the years.
Tantra? Should I explore sexuality with random partners and call it spiritual sex? No, thank you, that is not for me, I thought. Maybe it triggered my ultra-Iranian origins; who knows?
However, in the spring of 2022, I took a brave step and threw myself into a tantra massage course. It turned out to be utterly different from wild sex with different men! And of course, I had to interview Shalini Lind, the tantra teacher.
Shortly afterwards, YouTube removed the video from my wordpress. I contacted them to ask why the video had been removed; and this was their answer:
“We reviewed your content carefully, and have confirmed that it violates our sex and nudity policy. We know this is probably disappointing news, but it’s our job to make sure that YouTube is a safe place for all.” I could not disagree with them more, but did not feel like wasting energy on arguing with them. I recommend you to watch the interview on YouTube. Decide for yourself if it has anything to do with sex or nudity?
I hope you enjoy this conversation with Shalini Lind as much as I did.
By the way, I have now updated my vibration of the week. I hope you enjoy it. You can also visit my website and book an online coaching, sound, or body movement therapy session with me. If you have any questions about my services, please do not hesitate to email me. And I promise you; that I will not spam your inbox with endless emails.

I love how she explains Tantra.
I’ve been practicing Taoism which is similar to Tantra, they both recognize the importance of sexual energy.

Yeah, I also like the way she explains the Tantra. It is more then just sexual intercourse. The sexual energy is our life force🧚♀️

It is funny you mention that because that thought has also struck me, their resemblance!!
I often find out that many couples look like each other.
It is for sure something of its own:
“Couples look like each other” Phenomena maybe 🙂

Shani Lind and her husband bear a remarkable resemblance; so maybe there is something to the part of tantra about influencing each other.

I came across this in one of Mantak Chia’s books, I don’t remember which one. He said couples that have been together for long look alike because of the energy they’ve exchanged over the years.

You know what a friend of mine put me on a new idea, that we usually looking for partners who are the opposite of us, to full-fill us, but actually we are more well suited with the person who is more like us. And I can totally relate to your theory about the exchange of energy over the years. That makes totally sense to me.

Yes I think people need to share some core principles for the relationship to last. Sometimes when opposites come together the relationship is very passionate but it burns out quickly.
